Installation Instructions
This is a multi step process that involves downloading the MASHR App from the Google Play Store, installing it, registering with the server and
synchonising with the server so that the App can function while offline.
and that you have obtained a system code to register with the server from us. If you haven't already
obtained a system code from us then you can click here
Step 1) If you aren't already viewing this Web page in your tablet then open a browser on your tablet and continue the following steps using your tablet.
Step 2) Install the Cloud App from the Google Play Store by tapping
Step 3) After the App has been installed, open the App and allow access all permissions.
Step 4) You will then be presented with a screen to enter your system code.
If this is the first installation then you will need to create a new system password which will be registered on the server,
otherwise use your system password from previous installations. Remember to record this password somewhere as there is no way to retrieve it later.
Step 5) You will then be presented with a screen to download the data from the server. This may take some time and it is highly recommended
that you do this when connected to Wifi or a good mobile network connection. Upon a successful download you should be presented
with a 'Continue' button.
Step 6) If this is the first installation then you will be asked to enter a username and password of the administrative user i.e. generally someone
with reasonable IT skills who will be responsible for the MASHR Apps within your organisation.
If MASHR has already been installed on another tablet then you will instead be asked to login with a username and password that you have previously
created on a another tablet.
The installation and setup process is now complete.

How do I install the App without going through the Google Play Store?
The recommended method is to install the MASHR apps is from the Google Play Store.
However you can also download the app from this Web site and install it following the instructions below.

Before starting the steps below please check that the prerequisite Apps have been installed see What other Apps do I need to run MASHR?
and that you have obtained a system code to register with the server from us.
Step 1) If you aren't already viewing this Web page in your tablet then open a browser on your tablet and continue the following steps using your tablet.
Step 3) After the download has finished (it is a bit difficult to see if the download is progressing but you should see a small flashing icon
at the top left of your screen) it will briefly ask you if you wish to install the App. If you miss the option to install it then open the 'My Files' App
(or other file browser) and scroll down to 'Downloads'. Tap 'app-cloud-release-vn.n.apk
Step 4) You may be presented with a popup box stating that the phone/tablet is set to block installation of apps obtained from unknown sources, tap settings.
Step 5) The device settings will be opened. Scroll down to the entry labeled Unknown sources and toggle the switch. You will be presented with a pop-up box,
check 'Allow this installation only and tap 'OK'
Step 6) You will then be presented with a screen to install the Cloud App, tap install.
Step 7) You will then be presented with a screen to open the Cloud App, tap open and allow access all permissions.
Step 8) You will then be presented with a screen to enter your system code and password which you need to register with the server
Step 9) You will then be presented with a screen to download the data from the server. This may take some time and it is highly recommended
that you do this when connected to Wifi or a good mobile network connection. Upon a successful download you should be presented
with a 'Continue' button.
Step 10) If this is the first installation then you will be asked to enter a username and password of the administrative user i.e. generally someone
with reasonable IT skills who will be responsible for the MASHR Apps within your organisation.
If MASHR has already been installed on another tablet then you will instead be asked to login with a username and password that you have previously
created on a another tablet.
The installation and setup process is now complete.
How do I delete my account?
If you no longer wish to use MASHR you can simply uninstall the App. Please contact +64 (0) 220 787 468 or info@mashr.co.nz and we will arrange a data extract
to be provided to you as well as remove any data associated with your account.
